Busoga United’s new coach, Charles Ayiekoh Lukula, began his tenure with a goalless draw against Buhimba Saints United at the Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe.
The match marked Ayiekoh’s first game in charge, replacing Eric Ndifuna who parted ways with the club recently. Despite the draw, Busoga United showed promise under their new coach, but were unable to find the back of the net.
In other FUFA Big League results, Blacks Power edged Calvary 2-1, while Gaddafi defeated MYDA by the same scoreline. Arua Hill also secured a 2-1 win over Paidha Black Angels, and Kataka beat Kiyinda Home Boys 1-0 at the Mbale Municipal Stadium.
The next round of matches is scheduled to take place on 29th November and December 1st, 2024. Busoga United will travel to face MYDA FC at Kagunga PS in Bukedea on Sunday, 1st December, 2024, at 4 pm.
At the end of the season, three clubs will earn promotion to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
