The Kyabazinga of Busoga, His Majesty William Gabula Nadiope IV, and the Inhebantu, Her Royal Highness Jovia Mutesi, have welcomed their third son, Prince Nadiope Ezra Josiah.

The prince was born on November 1, 2026, according to a royal birth announcement issued on November 5.

The announcement, made on behalf of the royal couple Prince Nadiope Arnold, said the birth was received with “immense joy and gratitude to the Almighty God”.

The newborn shares his birthday with his father, the Kyabazinga, in what the royal family described as a special and remarkable coincidence.

“This makes the occasion even more memorable for the Royal Family and the Kingdom of Busoga,” the announcement reads.

It also confirmed that both the Inhebantu and the newborn prince are in excellent health.

The royal family expressed appreciation to the people of Busoga, relatives, friends and well-wishers for their prayers, love and goodwill during the occasion.
